How does going green benefit you? The less that Wiindstan spends on electricity, the more savings we can pass onto our customers. Every effort we invest into our environment will ultimately save money for our customers.

- Sky Lights – In 2005, we chose a building that had plenty of sky lights. Sky lights allow ambient light to enter the building which reduces our dependency on electrical lighting sources.

- Solar Panels – In 2011, Windstan had solar panels designed and setup for our building. Not only has it generated electricity, it has also provided a tremendous amount of shade for our building. Thus, reducing our electricity cost on cooling.

- Lighting – In 2012, Windstan replaced our warehouse halide lighting with energy efficient fluorescent light fixtures. Each fixture has its own motion detector. They will auto-shutoff when not in use.
